Patrick Smith, author of the amazing book Ask the Pilot and writer of the column of the same name at Salon figured out a pretty awful trip: How to go around the world without leaving the airport, or its transit hotel. As someone who loves to travel, I think this would be an intriguing adventure. Even better, he thinks it would make good tv.
